Thank you for supporting the League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area in Making Democracy Work for 99 years!

More than 150 supporters celebrated with the League at this year's event held at Hotel Covington in Covington, KY! The celebration featured 55 auction items, a meaningful and entertaining award presentation by Honorees Ann Lugbill and Brewster Rhoads, and numerous active and influential members of the Cincinnati-area community. The event also inspired multiple individuals to become League Members.

The League of Women Voters of the Cincinnati Area Education Fund is a nonpartisan public policy educational organization, which builds citizen participation in the democratic process, studies key community issues at all government levels in an unbiased manner, and enables people to seek positive solutions to public policy issues through education and conflict management. We believe in respect for individuals, the value of diversity, the empowerment of the grassroots, and the power of collective decision making for the common good.

The League of Women Voters was created out of the women's suffrage movement and was formed quickly after women gained the right to vote in 1920. While our name connects to our history, the League works to educate and empower all voters.
